#1 Input Channel selector Switch Type Help

2 pole/6way should it be a Break before make, non-shorting Type or the other way round :?

Personally I would always use a break before make non shorting switch.
Something like the ELMA 2-pole 6-way selctor switch type 04 or the Seiden 2 pole 6 way selector switch, No.32006, 32NEG. Both available from hificollective

Yes, I used the Seiden in the Pre2 before I sold it on. A nice switch IMHO Colin. Not the cheapest but worth the money methinks.

Yes break before make I would have thought.

Doesn't HFC have a Lorlin type one with gold plated contacts?

I've used These in the switchers I've made.

Not saying they're the best but they're only switching 0V to one end of a relay coil.
Relevant boxes ticked - certified loony

I was looking for something more like this it's none shorting by don't know if it's MBB plus it may not be any better than a Lorlin type thou

Colin,
I would not recommend one of those. I tried one once. Never again. Those cheap ones that Floppybootstomp and Lee S posted would be a better purchase if budget cost is prime.

Yep I think you are right just as easy to use the Lorlin type one and maybe upgrade to an ELMA if things work out with the pre amp :)
