I've used a pair of Sennheiser PX200 headphones for 6.5 years now with an I-Pod. They fold away into a carrying case and sound good to me. They also block out all noise very well to people near you so are ideal for public transport, imo.
I have the Mk 1 version which doesn't have the volume control ...

This morning I had a wander round part of Greenwich market and picked me's up a few vinyl goodies. Amongst them was the Clockwork Orange soundtrack, in good nick for three quid guvnor.

Solid state devices in valve amp? Have just had a look at the cct diag to my Elektor pp amp and all it has is four diodes in HT line. Heater supply is AC.

Yes, that's one thing I like about Facebook, I have 100's of photos up there that folk I know from whiles back can simply download, easier than posting disks full of photos or sending prints, an easy way to share.
