There was something very simple that could be fitted inside your amp to sort this.Can't remember it though.Nick tried it at some point I think so he may have some info on it.I think it was first mooted on t'other place ages ago.

I've a copy on cd of Muddy Water's Folk Singer,and this has the same thing on certain tracks.Otherwise one of the finest recordings I've heard.No compression! :D

Aye that's what I meant,to start the paper burning.I grew up with real fires and it was my job to chop all the wood.We used to get a year's worth in one go.It took me days and days to chop it all!

Neal,was the dissipation not lowered because the original WAD 300b kit ran them at the top end of the spec?
I got a set of EH (not GG) for mine and they have been fine with lowered dissipation.They don't get used much though!
