thanks nick,i appreciate you taking the time to do that for me,out of about 4 forums you are the only person to help,i find it frustrating that i dont fully understand electrics.

im leaning towards having a go myself and making one of these, http://norton-tech.co.uk/AirPower/APKit.htm whats confusing me is the ratings for both transformers,i get that ones 80 and ones 60 but i gather thats the secondary output,what primary rating should i get,would one kind soul like to find ...

hi, ive spent most of the day reading up about this subject and although there is loads of info on the subject i simply dont understand circuit diagrams,as this is a dangerous area to go in blind i thought perhaps one of you guys more experienced could advise/build it for me?? its for a rock elite 2...

The reason for painting it in the first place is to seal the substrate for this type of veneer, it needs a non porus surface. I paint the cutouts black anyway, so just spray it all What a waste of time that was, but at least the possibility has been tried why are you painting it if its being veneer...

hi ant, there doesn't appear to be any way to turn the pitch controls off,i wonder if tvk means just the strobe light? ive had a look on the inside of the inner platter and all looks to be good,ive finished the recap and it hasn't made any difference so im nearly at the end of my electrical ability'...

lol cheers nick,do you know i never thought just to buy one with the right voltage regardless of size just to try! i suspect its not the pots as it does it both on 33 and 45,ive recapped the psu board and have the last 4 caps to change on the main board tonight,ive that doesn't fix it i will put it ...
