Otway performed solo in one of my local pubs a few months ago for free to celebrate his roadies birthday, great fun. An annual Otway gig is May Morning in behind The Bear pub in Oxford. This year he had his "big Band" with him because he was launching a new album. May Morning officially st...

Re: D3a Phonostage reloaded Assistance required

Re: A unipivot made from scrap

Hi Paul Yes, but it was so long ago I'd forgotten about it until I saw your photo. Time flies, I've just been looking at my build log for a variant of James C3g/2A3 amp. I used a C3m with input step up transformer. I completed monoblocks in Dec 2005. Over eleven years, the longest I've used any amp....

Re: Nothing In Particular

Hi Folks I'm glad Owston was a great success, I'm sorry I missed it. I thought Phillip Pullman summed up the vote as well as anyone, "We had a headache, so we shot our foot off. Now we can't walk, and we still have the headache. There was an interesting article in the Telegraph on corruption, w...

A couple of years ago, when Space X were expanding they took one of the English directors from BMW Oxford as Vice President of Manufacturing. I knew him, and it was obvious he was going somewhere, but I did not expect it to be Space X. Several others from BWM Oxford followed and now I see that the V...
