Plan B

Hi Topsy, that's plan B, it's just that they also show the rather ugly head of the mounting bolt too.

Neither Farnell or RS

Thanks Andrew, I checked both Farnell and RS as well as googling various combinations of toroid, potting, etc.....

Wanted - Potting Boxes

No, I know this isn't the gardening forum! I'm looking to have a couple of toroidal mains transformers potted but the supplier only has grey potting boxes, which still expose the ugly head of the mounting bolt. I can live with these if necessary but would prefer the satin black, with threaded insert...

I Like it Here!

Just wanted to comment after the first days of signing up here. Firstly, its good to have been made so welcome. For the Luddites Amongst Us

I've just posted a load of classical vinyl for sale at the 'other place'. Sorry, I'm not allowed to include a link with my posts yet. I would like it to go to a good home.

Paraglow 3?

THought I would give a flavour of my next amp project. Some of you may recall that I started with a stock Bottlehead Paraglow kit (which I reviewd in HiFi World a few years ago). I've gradually upgraded it with Cobalt output transformers, the Paraglow 2 kit (C4S, shunt regulation on the 6N1P), tentl...
