Re: General health matters.

If it is gout Phillip, the toe will be swolen redish and even a small rush of wind ( if someone opens a door ) will make you cringe. The pain will also be Continuous, I hope all goes well. Bob

Thanks Bob.

Personally I don't think it is/was gout, but I'm not a doctor. The pain and symptoms have ...

Still waiting?
I had them both at West Suffolk Hospital (Bury st Edmunds) yesterday (Friday).

X-ray quoted 7-14 days for results. :(

The toe pain has subsided, but still hurts if I walk.

Re: General health matters.

Thanks Bob.

I thought the problem had diminished, but this morning around 05:00 I awoke with a really throbbing toe joint. I quickly swallowed a co-codamol and shortly after the pain subsided.

I'm now getting ready to see the joint pain specialist at my surgery.

Sorry about this, so tomorrow then?
:(
Yep, 09:00.

If it is gout there are medications to reduce uric acid, so I'm hopeful of a successful outcome.

Watch this space. :)

I was away at Potters last week, but since I came home I have had bad (but not severe) pains in knees and big toe, could be gout ? It has made walking difficult, even indoors.

I seem to remember one that showed a toy train going round in a circle whilst the music was wheels by Joe Loss.

Any one else remember ?
