Re: Nothing In Particular

I've not been following F1 much recently, but this is todays news.

"Red Bull has released Christian Horner from his operational duties with effect from today and has appointed Laurent Mekies as CEO (chief executive) of Red Bull Racing," Red Bull GmbH said in a statement on Wednesday.

If you accept the butterfly effect then any number of things could have changed the outcome of that incident.

A pointless question really. They are both dead and nothing can change that. :(

Re: Headphone amp ?

I'm thinking about headphones (again) for serious listening with CDs.

I use headphones almost every day for YouTube, but I rarely listen to my main system at all these days. :(

I'm not wanting to invest any time, or money, at the moment, so I've been looking at what kit I have. First up was my ...

Re: Zero emission road vehicles.

The London fire brigade have an EV fire engine, it cost double that of a conventional fire engine but apparently it's never actually been on a "shout".

Seems the EV range is not too bad but when pumping at full capacity only lasts 20 minutes.

Perhaps they should paint it white and cover ...

"A car-carrier ship known as the Morning Midas filled with hundreds of EVs has been evacuated by the U.S. Coast Guard some 300 miles off the coast of Alaska after an onboard fire engulfed the 600-foot cargo ship on Tuesday.

The ship originated from Yantai, China, on May 26 and was bound for the ...

Re: Road vehicle fires.

Seems a ship with 3,000 cars on board is on fire in the Pacific, approx 800 were Chinese EVs according to reports. Other reports said the crew had jumped ship.

Good luck in your quest. :)

I have a Yamaha YP-D7 but it does not meet your specifications.

Greg has (so I believe) a nice Denon DD turntable, but I don't know the model.

Re: The Audio-Talk Motorcycling thread.

I am debating whether to remove the clutch basket, the ball race is not horrible but if it could be replaced might be worthwhile doing. I've discovered my spark plug socket is a perfect fit for the (deeply!) recessed shaft nut, and I have the clutch centre holding tool, so why not.

I wouldn't click on any link from an unknown source.

Is he a genuine audio enthusiast ? His user name might suggest so, but I'll reserve judgement till he's posted a bit more.
