I’d think hard about doing an EAR834 copy. It wasn’t the best by a long way ...

Radiotracer injection. Old language was Radio Isotopes. Ray will ‘glow’ for a while until he pisses it all out. Not sure about the small pets bit though.
Good luck Ray!

Re: Colin (Toppsy) Rest In Peace
Yes, what a shock. Colin was a great pal and so willing to help out. He did a magic job on my turntable, thank you. Love to Lynn and family. A genuinely nice and kind guy who helped me so much with his advise over the years. Rest in Peace.

Re: Slow Mo MoFo
It’s been a while but in the past I have dealt with Airlink and found them very helpful. They always used to offer a bespoke winding service. If they still do, there might, under your circumstances be a deal you can do.
Re: Speakers
It appears to me that DQ has misunderstood how to wire speakers in series. A Google search in images for schematic of series wired loudspeakers should be very helpful. Refer back to DQ’s original question and Nick’s response. Assuming his diagram shows from the top, tweeter, midrange, woofer and ...

Re: My Niece's First Vinyl System
In other news, yesterday I got her a first system upgrade - I bought a Thorens TD-150 on Ebay for just £75. The Thorens is in working order and looks to be in pretty good condition, but I'll strip it down and give it a complete service and I think it'll scrub up nicely and be a good improvement on ...

Re: Valve PHONO Preamp
Hm, rowuk’s suggestion seems a little complex for a feed from a 75ed.
What about our Nick’s adaptation of the original WAD Phono circuit? Fairly simple and a great performer.

A pet’s veterinary cone from the late moggie, duck taped to the end of the extractor pipe, gives more effective and wider coverage for the fume extraction:

The reason for this setup, is that after years of exposure to solder fumes, I’ve developed an allergy to the smoke, so that I’ve ...

Re: Cranage 2024
I really enjoyed the day, great to meet up with many friends, again sorry we missed Greg..
Yes, I am sorry as well.
It is fare to say, getting to bed at 3.30 and up before 8.30 is something I find harder to do as the years go by, so I felt a little subdued. What actually turned me off and ...
