I did similar a few years ago, left my ipad (oh yes) and house keys on the top of my car, dove about half a mile and heard something, difficult to describe, fall from the car, 2 and 2 didnt compute…it was my keys but I didn’t find out until 5 miles later when I got home to my utter surprise an ipad ...

He also mentioned that the have ‘heating’ posts for ICE cars in car parks as the temperatures can get really low, plug your car in to pre warm the engine.

Spoken to a friend who lives in Norway and the low temperatures do cause EV owners issues there as temps drop well below -30c at times. Obviously journey planning is key as is keeping the cars, even petrol and diesel in a heated garage. He did say they have a good charging network though so it’s ...

I think it’s fine if you have an overnight power source to plug into, leaving an EV in freezing conditions at an airport for a few weeks with a low battery is going to be more of an issue.

Our Sainsbury’s runs ANPR cameras, clocking you in and out, 2hrs max stay but……you still have to buy a paper parking ticket at the intermittently working machines and display it. You can then redeem your parking fee at the checkout….. :confused:

Been messing around with the ARM based casio watch accuracy after the first calibration against time.is worked out to be +40s / year…not bad.

So I’ve just re calibrated and hopefully it will be many weeks before the next. New firmware has been released to fix bugs so will be pulling it apart to ...
