Re: A little light humour

Bottom left looks like a pedicure set? Nut picks? No, no. Didn't you see a set like that in a Bond film where Bond was threatened by a villain with a set like that after Bond had offed the villain's mentor? It's a villain's torture set. It was in the film where Bond blew a lot of things up and race...

Re: A little light humour

My wife said to me "you haven't been listening to a word I've said for the last 5 minutes".

I though, what an odd way to start a conversation...

Re: WANTED: Windows 7 laptop with working USB port...

I appreciate the idea, but this has to operate whilst I'm driving, so has to be a laptop. There's a guy on eBay selling refurbished W7 SP1 laptops for around £50, so I've bought one of those. With the VIDA software installed and the special Volvo DICE ODB reader, that'll do the trick nicely. When I'...

Re: Nothing In Particular

Anyone here switched from POTS (copper) home phone to VoIP and kept their old number? I kicked karoo(kcom) out in march which meant losing the karoo phone. The new ISP allowed me to keep my router so I bought a grandstream voip interface and plugged the existing panasonic digiphones into it. Karoo ...

Re: Nothing In Particular

Who do you use? BT will allow you to port the number BTW... For the US number I used Voip.ms and for UK I use Voipfone. The phones I have are mapped to the multiple lines. Thanks for that - I've just set up with Voipfone - really cheap but excellent support - answered the phone very quickly, knew t...

When I originally set this up, the SmartHub couldn't do pass-through... and if you think about it, for the Digi...
