Re: The Audio-Talk Motorcycling thread.
Thanks! Nothing specific, although I’d alway wondered what the drive roller looked like. It’s just such a wonderful bit of lateral thinking. Could only have come from the land that produced the Citroen 2CV. I wonder how long front tyres last for? It'll come as no surprise I happily owned a 2CV for ...

Re: The Audio-Talk Motorcycling thread.
Got any more pics of the Velosolex motor, Dave? I’ve been fascinated by them ever since I saw a nun riding one around Chartres Cathedral about 60 years ago. Yes, Millyunz of piccies! We think this is circa 1983/84 going by the engine number and the date stamps on the wheels. It came to me like this...

Ta Greg.
The Solex engine is a right pickle to work on unless you clamp it somehow. Its all rounded and rolls away otherwise.

Re: Minidisc
Yes.
The benefit of having a machine that plays Minidiscs means you can hear whats on any MInidiscs you may have.
Genius eh
EDIT. I don't want to disappoint you but even though its called a Sony MDS-JE480 Minidisc player it might not actually play 480 Minidiscs at once.

Re: The Audio-Talk Motorcycling thread.
Are they 'ape hanger' bars Mr B? It looks pretty good cosmetically and at first I thought it was some sort of welded monocoque frame but I can now see it's tubed. Not to worry too much about the mechanical issues though, it's a nice colour. Nah, not Ape-hangers Ray. These are the correct 'bars for ...

What did I do today? Re-homed another future project. Some pictures, our Conservatory doesn’t usually resemble Steptoe’s yard but it was the only space I’ve got room for it (for now). Oooo! https://i.imgur.com/NSQAPrB.jpg https://i.imgur.com/rb8mlUj.jpg Its a 1980 Puch X50-3 moped. A fella down our ...

"What were You Listening To Right This Minute a few nights ago?"
Well, it was like a mixture between a Canterbury band and Weather Report (IMO). It was a very good night out though.

They were called Soft Machine

What Are You Listening To Right This Minute? Yesterday afternoon, a London based Pirate radio reggae station on FM, no ID, total 1980's throwback sound FX too in amongst playing mainly reggae-ised cover versions from the 60's and 70's. They played this version of Buffalo Springfield's 'For What Its ...

Kerrrrikey! That guitarist's techniques library is immense, and Jonas is no slouch either.
2 musicians listening to one another and playing off one another. Enjoyed that.
