I have thought about offering to finish those speakers but given that the bit Colin did that was special was to a large amount the veneer I don't think any third rate finish would be a tribute.

Fair comment and it would have to be exceptional to be a fitting tribute - I know my veneering skills ...

I went to the show and agree about most systems being played too loud which makes it very difficult to judge.
