brought to you, I beleive, by the corporation that has poisoned half the planet...I further beleive they(the corporation) will sell you the antidote to the damage...... also, I beleive, famous for agent orange and the genetically modified seeds that will only reproduce once, so the third world farme...

@Stephen...yes that's exactly what it is and what I want, but I haven't found one yet.... @Nick... Thanks for that, historically Ive used uln2803 but I think yours is a more modern version of much the same thing.... . I think I may abandon this in favour of an off the shelf ESR meter which might set...

thanks Paul, but unfortunately I didn't explain very well... single unit to avoid using 2 miniature relays...that's the kind of footprint i'm looking for......and logic control to avoid too many transistor drivers for the relays.... yes I could use miniature relays but there will be a gang of 8 of t...

I'm having a senior moment(again)
does anybody know of a single relay or switch that incorporates the 2 functions shown......logic controlled natch!

nearly forgot...5 amps capable.

Anyone got any recommendations for a 100mm/4" dust/chip extractor? I'm leaning towards the Axminster Craft AC153e ATM as the reviews are very good, but the Itech DC002 looks excellent value for money, but is a beast and needs a 16A supply (which I do have) I gave that axminster model to the me...

I'm not sure if it's relevant but he turned 40 in March....I'm feeling quite proud of the boy.
He also does those mad mudder things and qualified for the English contingent in the European something or others...

thanks for that it confirms my original thinking. accepted wisdom relating to lipos of the 2-10 Ah type seems to suggest that off load should be measured greater than 2 mins after on-load. resource to build fossil fuel car := x
resource to run fossil fuel car:= y

resource to build electric car:= x (give or take + resource for battery)
resource to run electric car:= 0 (give or take)

isn't the comparison y vs 0 ?
