I'd be interested in what you mean by scrubbing at the pivot points? This is wild speculation on my part, but the idea is that the curvature of the sharp pivot point is much higher than the cup curvature. Have always wondered how the Kuzma 4 point works and found this https://positive-feedback.com/reviews/hardware-reviews/kuzma-4point-tonearm/ .
