Re: Technics SL-D3 Turntable

Give the pots a really good spray with servisol first, i found on the sl150 that the pots were actually fine, just awfully grotty because they hadnt been twiddled in years. I actually quite like the 150. Not sure where it actually is at the moment

Re: Roksan Radius 5.2

Should have a wall thickness with the offset hole of 1.5mm at the thinnest point which you should just about get away with depending on the thread used on the outside for a securing nut

Re: Roksan Radius 5.2

Exactly that ray, Or even simpler, print up a boss that goes all the way through the plinth with a thread on it so that you can put a big nut on the underside of to secure it, offset the arm pillar hole in it so you rotate the boss to align it, and have a shoulder on the top that sticks up by 4 - 5 ...

Re: Roksan Radius 5.2

What i would do would be to 3d print (machine up in my case when i finally get my underground lair sorted in the cellar) a round thin plate, say 3mm thick with a raised 23mm circular section in the centre that will key into the existing arm hole.
Turn it over so the flat side is up, Shove the 23mm ...

Re: Roksan Radius 5.2

As far as i can remember the M/S arm has a longer pivot to spindle distance than a nima to the tune of 3mm.
This 3mm is quite a lot. Issues being that the 222 of the nima and the hole diameter at the arm mounting point might not allow you to get it mounted at 225mm. Without hacking into the perspex ...

Re: Technics SL1800 MK 2

I did really like your 301 paul, it does a certain something, with the audiomods arm on it in that plinth i made, it sounded really well.
Ive had so many dds over the years and they do something else.

I havent got any music at the moment, have all that kit and nowhere to put it...its doing my head ...
