Last night, to show that taking a picture of the moon on a mobile phone is stupid I took a snap of the thin young sliver.
Hand held and using 100x magnification I was stunned to get a result that clearly shiws it us a thin sliver of the moon and a crater is clearly recognizable....

No it aint one ...
