Re: Zero emission road vehicles.

I think that’s a large part of the problem, it’s not much of a grid.

Re: The Audio-Talk Motorcycling thread.

I recall a job where a client had been carrying out their own maintenance on their 11kV switchgear, they had used WD on the mechs. All had to be returned to the factory for complete disassembly and cleaning. They didn’t do that again. :-)

Re: The Audio-Talk Motorcycling thread.

There was a time when filling the tank to the brim was a sensible thing to do. But that was before the world's collective embrace of both lunacy and ethanol. Ethanol is determinably hygroscopic and the greater the concentration of the stuff in petrol, the greater the risk of tank corrosion and the ...

It is, and does make it easy and I’m very happy with it. The Smart Tractor is on another level though, but not cheap!

Re: New Turntable Acquisition

Very nice, is that one of the original obsidian plinths?

I’ve gotten my hands on a nice motor unit, fettled by Phonomac Angus a few months ago. Should be picking it up in a few weeks. Angus will be making a Panzerholz plinth for it. Going to use a Terminator arm on it.

No headache as such, just the most amazing intense light show in one eye whether its open or closed. 2nd time it happened I just sat back and enjoyed the show. :happy10: 10- 15 mins of cor, followed by not being able to see much out of o...

I adopted the same approach when I had eight to assemble for the 300B OTL project!

Re: DHT Heater using VCCS - PCB or Kit (Possible Group buy)

It's ironic, I have never put them in a finished and cased up amp to find out what happens to them. I have a load of unfinished projects here  I put some prototypes in one of Colin's amps, the aftermarket fitment resulted in the regs being "on their sides", we eventually swapped the...
