If I was involved, I would like to show some evidence that it could lap anywhere at 100MPH.
The fastest lap of a Gold Star on the Isle of man when they were still current was this.

1956 Clubmans Senior TT Bernard Codd 3 1:18:40.6 86.33mph
I was just referencing the origin of the name.

Re: The Audio-Talk Motorcycling thread.

So, in a way, they became dinosaurs. But the Goldie legend is still strong. Yep, but I guess its like the 30 year car video, who now who wanted a dbd34 in their youth but couldn't have one will now decide they want the almost but not exactly copy? I wish them well, but cant help wondering if part o...

Re: Proposed anti tamper legislation for vehicles.

For better or worst I think we will see a lot of petrol stations being repurposed. I also expect ice's to be banned from many places so the market will be forced to dwindle. Maybe also scrappage schemes.

Re: signal generator - 2nd generation

well that was my question really, can I join 0vA and 0vB? the opamp is a buffer in effect, it's just that I use it for a bit of gain....strictly speaking I don't have to have any gain, but the problem with sig gen version 1 was that it maxed out at 2v RMS and that was the main reason for looking at...

Re: signal generator - 2nd generation

Why not just join 0va and 0vb and just use a buffer in the output.

Re: signal generator - 2nd generation

I'm still pondering about how the 2 grounds will play together..
Which two grounds? Using that DC DC converter will solver that problem.

Re: Nothing In Particular

Just think of the scenario if this rare weather situation occurs in 10 years when everyone has heat pumps and electric cars.... I wonder what the issues are with the HV grid - is it lack of maintenance, ensuring trees cannot hazard cables etc, as the pylons and cables are designed to cope with real...
