Re: On My Bench.

If the op amp was ok out of the amp, it would be a indication that the problem went a bit deeper. As it is Dave's repair looks good to go.

Re: On My Bench.

Well it's not conclusive but it's indicative of that. It could still be the amp broke the op amp.

Re: On My Bench.

That's good. I assume the other three outputs don't do that. If not then it's a reassurance that you found the cause and it's not so likely to happen again to the replacement.

If you are trying to support cylinders on other cylinders yes. But that's not the case for Ray.

Re: Zero emission road vehicles.

Well, to ignore the rantings for a moment, and to consider the sustainable benefit of not scrapping cars. To try and add more to Andrews questions (by just doing a few searches that he could have just done himself). "a Canadian study recently showed that 97.4 percent of Porsches from the last 2...

Yes, interesting. Does make it a £600 pound oven though or £900 for the version with the work done from the same people.

Re: Zero emission road vehicles.

Over 70 percent of all Porsche vehicles ever built are still on the road today
So its nice that they are working on a way that they can still be used in the future. I think that's a big part of why Porsche are looking for a sustainable solution to running ICE based vehicles.

Re: Zero emission road vehicles.

What I would be interested in seeing is any reference to Blume saying any of that. They did make a v8 last year that ran on hydrogen, but all I can find, suggests they are still backing synthetic fuel. https://newsroom.porsche.com/en/2022/company/porsche-ceo-oliver-blume-combustion-engines-efuels-el...

Re: Zero emission road vehicles.

Just reading those links, it seems the problem is a combination of the price cuts hitting their residual values, which of course matters for fleet owners, and repair costs. Can't seen any indication that the running cost that a normal owner would face is the problem, sounds like its more related to ...

Re: The cloud.

When you start telling people what there perspective is , you can be fairly sure it is time to stop digging . No, in this case I think I am fine, no spade needed. Your perspective in this context, is that of a user of the forum/cloud service on the end of a ip pipe. Nothing more or less than that. ...

Re: The cloud.

You are wrong. I have no legally enforceable agreement with nick , he can do what he wants and I would have no recourse . That isn't a contract no matter how much you stretch the definition. . . But from your perspective it is a cloud service, which by your definition can not exist. My definition &...

And with a small change to a DNS record it can be running on a server sitting under my desk in 10 minutes and you would not know any difference. So I really don't see your point. The fact that I pay for the server that this is currently hosted on is irreverent to my providing the forum running on a ...

Re: The cloud.

Well, you did accept a EULA when you joined, so there is that. But this is running on a remote server, so is a cloud service by anyone's definition but yours.
