They are not gate stoppers as you may imagine, they are to limit forward current if the gate junction becomes forward biased.I did add gate stoppers

Your user account is not using that email, its the same name but at gmail.com. Do you want me to change it to icloud.com

Re: Single-Ended Pentode Redux
It all depends on the g2 mu of the valve you are using as to what the optimal ratio of anode and g2 signal voltage is. Its using g2 as a second terminal in a feedback system. The Wiki page covers it better than that typical diyaudio confusion.

Re: Single-Ended Pentode Redux
Valeri, just for clarity, to answer your original question. No, you can't use those transformers in Steves circuit, it requires a transformer with a UL tap, yours doesn't have one.

But its not ad infinitum, it will eventually end with a viewer, i.e. you....or maybe the photo of the photographer (ad infinitum)?

Yep, I have made a fair number of WiiM supplies and have one here. Was very pleasantly surprised when it worked with LMS.

Kawai made some odd things. I remember that moon shape one. I used to have a kawai with a solid aluminium 24 fret mech with a rosewood facing.

Re: Squeezebox Touch power jack to USB C adapter
Not that I know of, but if you get a USB-C to USB-A cable, cut of the USB-A end. Get a 2.5mm DC socket, there will be four or five wires in the USB cable. Cut off all but the red and the black. red to +5v, black to gnd and you should have what you need.

Re: C3g Aikido Phono
Unrelated to power supply. When you simmed the coupling cap did you do it into the 47k of the phono stage or the 1M that you had on your circuit?
