Re: The Audio-Talk Cycling thread.

I did a virtual race on Zwift this evening - averaged 25mph and finished only 5seconds behind the winner. Chuffed with that.

Re: Salad Bowl Speakers

To start with It'll be pretty much like Nik's bean bag suggestion but I'll worry about a more permanent type arrangement when I've had a listen. I think I could make the dowel feet approach work because there is about 5cms of the 'barrel' where the shapes are tubular, but would need something to sto...

Indeed, not a trivial cost uplift, but I guess still competitive in comparison with the general marketplace. DIY would be the obvious approach but it's justifying the outlay for a hobby that would only make occasional use of it.

Re: Salad Bowl Speakers

I picked up a big roll of recycled wool floor underlay a while ago, and have been using that. Thanks Chris. I'll keep an eye out for something similar, shouldn't need much so maybe find some offcuts locally. In the meantime, I''ve applied a few coats of the finishing oil and today I ordered some ca...

Looking excellent. Well done. I'm surprised you haven't thrown the drivers in and had a listen - I know I wouldn't be able to resist. Chris Cheers Chris. I was planning to have a quick listen but then, before I knew what was happening, I was applying the finishing oil. They're just bare inside at t...

Happily using Microsoft OneDrive and Google Drive - my files follow me around whatever device I am using and I don't have to worry about backups and the like - had a terminal PC failure recently and didn't lose any of my files. I also have an Office365 subscription, I use LastPass, Googlemail, Imgur...
