I’m sure those Mundorf ones are very good, but they are a bit too pricey for me.

WTB: short 47k, 25v caps

I am looking for 4 x 47k, 25v caps, snap-in type, but they need to be no more than 50mm tall. Farnell have some but they are US stock and so they charge £16 for delivery. Anybody got any by chance?

Yep, it’s common to all power supplies that are sold as a plug and play DIY solution. It’s not common if the power supply and regulator is integrated into the the product. I am very interested in Andrea Mori’s (ex DIYA) DAC Lite, FIFO buffer and state of the art clocks. Some of the wildly enthusiastic builders of this DAC have used powers supplies from a co called MPAudio who are into using multiple LT3045s. Everything I’ve read about the TPL suggests you want to be crossing no lower than 1200 and ideally at 2k, so your horn must be having quite a positive impact.
