Re: Nothing In Particular

Hi Ray
M-Machine Engineering Metals have 50 x 50 x 6 at £6.30 per 300mm plus £5.40 p&p
http://www.m-machine-metals.co.uk/

Just noticed that they reserve the right to have a minimum order charge of £9 for metal.
Perhaps they have something else you need.

Re: Richard Thompson Tour

Don't forget Cropredy Festival, he is penultimate act on Saturday 14 August, with Fairport last act. Fairport set will include whole of Full House album, so RT will be electric for that. Could mean a visit from Dave Mattocks as well. Got tickets left over from last year, just got to find the energy ...

Re: Nothing In Particular

I've just had the Cottingham folk festival leaflet arrive through the letter box. A couple of things caught my eye, Julie Felix at £16 when all the other acts are priced between £25 and £35....sadly appears she is a waning star.... the odd entry for me is John Otway and Willy Barrett...folk festival...

Re: Nothing In Particular

Saw Otway and Barrett last night at a gig near Newbury.
Excellent, but would have difficulty categorising them.
Perhaps rock, comedy, folk,

Otway puts on a show on May Morning in Oxford at 7.00am outside the Bear pub, been there every year since retiring.

Re: Attendees Owston 1/2 June 19

Again thanks to Steve for organising the event and thanks to all the exhibitors for bringing such a fine collection of equipment.
It was great to meet friends old and new.
Now I must finish a D3a phono and pre that have been part built for a few years.

Cheers

Re: ebay no-show items

Well, I guess I've been lucky, but everything I've ordered has been as described and within reasonable time, except the last thing, a se of wiper blades for a BMW 1 Series. I ordered them from a firm in Kent and received a set for an Audi. Could I get them to understand that they had sent the wrong ...

Hi Ali Will be interested in how you rate the H2s, I've had a pair for about 10 years and they are more to my taste than anything else I've had. I moved the crossover out of the speaker and added a small amount of damping to some of the inside panels. Best of all, they go as loud as the room can tak...
