Saw them in 1981 at Manchester Poly (plus Brand X around the same time)
Got my jealous trousers on now.
I didn't see either gig, and had I known about them I'd have been there.

I did see Jeff Beck at The Apollo - middle seats, front row.
The Manchester Polly was a great venue - small and intimate.
The only problem was it was the early 80's and I didn't smoke but nearly everyone did - vey overpowering!!

Middle-of-the-road stuff, but God she had a beautiful voice.
The world looks so different after learning science. For example, trees are made of air, primarily. When they are burned, they go back to air, and in their flaming heat is released the flaming heat of the Sun which was bound in to convert air into tree.

For sure that's true.
From the sublime
.....to the sublime :
One of the best debut albums ever ?
I played it this evening for the first time in a long while and my respect for Joni Mitchell got even higher (if that were possible).
David Crosby produced with great sensitivity.
Poetry and vocals of the highest order.

I thought I would explore something new (to me). The album cover reminds me of a postcard from Dartford...
