Well I think so anyway!

Latest creation quartz power supply for Garrards, Lencos, Thorens etc with speed controller, no more taking the platter off your Lenco to change the speed!

Is that the one we heard at the last Yorkshire hi-fi club meeting ?

Yes it is Phil.

I sold my 401 the other week and got withdrawal symptoms so I just bought another 401 today off Paul Stewart. Ex BBC one.

Good effort. I hear via the grapevine that some 'A-list' US HiFi people have been informed of its capabilities ...

Yes I heard that too, it seems quite a few of the high end brigade use Garrards.

The "improvement" was immediately obvious within seconds to everyone there. :D

I doubt the *real* High End would be seen dead with that old rumble box :D

Still my favourite looking vintage deck, I've been fortunate to own decks that offer little to no added bass noises and distortions at all and I'm afraid once infected with a less noisy and no less clear and musical sound from vinyl, it's very difficult to go back... You can minimise a 301 and 401 nastiness, but I remain to be convinced you can fully eliminate it - just my experience and I HAVE heard more recent plinthed examples.

*** Come back SL110, all will be forgiven as long as I can put you in a heavy sand lined box, change your mat and - oh  ;) ***
