Dashed up to West Yorkshire tonight, much rain about.

Got to attend a funeral at 11.00 Wednesday then dash back home late afternoon.

Well, the old dear was 99 when she passed, so a fair innings.

The world looks so different after learning science. For example, trees are made of air, primarily. When they are burned, they go back to air, and in their flaming heat is released the flaming heat of the Sun which was bound in to convert air into tree.

This weekend just gone I went down to West Sussex (Crawley) to see my uncle, he will be 89 on the 29th Dec, but been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Planning to get himself moved into a care home along with the wife, who had a stroke some years ago and never fully recovered and now confined to bed. He invited me down to have some stuff if I want it, before the move. So came back with a pair of speakers and his old Ferrograph amp, a small stash of records, a laptop and a few other bits.

Well.. I'm back in the UK now. Not the best trip...

I was on EK011 today, leaving DXB at around 02:50 and supposed to land at 06:30 at LGW.

Except it didn't.

It landed at LHR as some tosser was flying drones around LGW. Other planes were sent to Cardiff, Paris, Amsterdam and elsewhere, so we were lucky really.

Home 5 hours late 🙄

you were lucky.....

it's been on the news all day long, almost as if there is nothing else going on in the world.....

apparently there are 110000 people who expected to fly today, and won't be.......you can't put that amount of misery into words., at least I don't think you can.

Anr, I bought one of Nick's DC blocker boards from him recently.
Sorry, I couldn't resist!
