Johnny Guitar Watson - A Real Mother.
JGW at his mid 70s funk height. A throbbing Moog Bass synthesiser and some particularly funky brass, drives everything along very nicely thank you and JGW's witty lyrics and expert guitar picking out Bensons George.

Still brilliant after all those years imo. I’ve been listening to a few of their live bootleg recordings, the improv and rapport is very very funny, real spur of the moment stuff.

Craig Charles has played them on his Funk & Soul show on 6Music. They did some mix featuring Josh Milan, but I'm damned if I can remember the title.
