Anyone got a pair of OPTs suitable for 45s they don't want? I'm looking for fairly cheap, looks aren't important as they'll be going inside the box.
There don't look to be too many new options - I'll probably end up with some Hammond 125BSEs now Mike's mate has retired. Open to suggestions.

Check out Ask Jan First - if he ( or someone else ) is still running the site. That was James D's goto place for affordable transformers.

No but they are the same. Those i got off you were used on a kt88 sep amp, i bought another set of them ( these ones) from a guy in Canada to use on the set el34 amp.
Im parting it out cos I have several amps I like better

I nearly linked those trafos in my first post . Don't know how they compare to the Hammond 125s but I guess they work out similar cost overall.IslandPink wrote: ↑Sat Nov 18, 2017 7:06 pm Check out Ask Jan First - if he ( or someone else ) is still running the site. I seem to recall Spacehopper/Sean brought a 45 amp to Eggbrough ~10 years ago which sounded really rather good. I think it was Nick inspired, perhaps with a choke loaded 76 driver??? Might have a photo somewhere...
