Hello.
The world looks so different after learning science. For example, trees are made of air, primarily. When they are burned, they go back to air, and in their flaming heat is released the flaming heat of the Sun which was bound in to convert air into tree.

Stan's ok apart from his money obsession and fascination with personal hygiene.
What can we call you (besides DVH) and what brings you here apart from the exotic members.

You can call me Dave. I'm here for the usual reasons; too much spare time, mostly.Michael L wrote:Stan's ok apart from his money obsession and fascination with personal hygiene.

Say the full name out loud and you'll find he has a high degree of self awareness, although I wouldn't call him old.dvh wrote: Why does he call himself Rudolph then?

Looking up the meanings of names can be fun. My middle name is Stanley, after my uncle who died in Burma during the war. It means horse lover.
Richard = strong and courageous
Stanley = horse lover
Dunn = dirty brown colour
Puts a whole new light on things if someone calls you a strong and courageous dirty brown coloured horse lover

Philip = lover of horses as well, but in my case I think it means horse power as in petrol/diesel head.
