Leyandii do not have a tap root - they have a horizontal main root system, typically just a couple of feet down, which doesn't stretch too far...

One part cut down, only two more to go (in phase 1).

All done using a hand saw and jigsaw with a long blade.

Will start on second one when the spoil from first one has gone and chainsaw bits arrive.

Here's the 10Y preamp in all its g(l)ory, now I've resized the photo small enough to upload. Anyone know an easy was to do it in Android without having to download to a computer?

That makes sense. I believe an illegal (Criminal damage) method of killing a neighbours tree you don’t want on your boarder is to bang copper nails into it. Might be an urban myth, I’ll never know from personal experience.

I use Photo & Picture Resizer

Free, but in-app adverts. But if you are running Pi-hole, you don't get those :D

I don’t know if it’s the same on Android as on IoS, but given that I use gmail, it probably is. I just email the photo to myself. When I hit send, it gives me the option of small, medium, large or original file sizes. Medium usually works well for this forum.

The world looks so different after learning science. For example, trees are made of air, primarily. When they are burned, they go back to air, and in their flaming heat is released the flaming heat of the Sun which was bound in to convert air into tree.

Thanks for the suggestions. I like the Gmail option, like Outlook. Except I don't get the option to resize and can't find one. :(

Lit Photo does resize and compress. I just compress to 150k. Job done. And post.

I've had a quick Google and couldn't find anything about Gmail resizing so an app it is.

Well, no point trying to put a DHT preamp straight into a box :-). Though it worked first time it surely wouldn't have if I had put in a box(es).

Anyway, it matches the rest of my stuff .

And here's a test photo of GM70 to see if the resizing works

Yeah, I haven't done anything for a very long time but got an urge. Made a nice change from work and the garden which has pretty much been my life under lockdown.
