Aaaaargh
Every time I do a Google search, clicking on one of the links takes me to Google news.
This is on a mac in Safari.......

Swap to Chrome?

I have been trying to keep Safari as cookie-free as possible, and use chrome where I can't avoid cookies.

Try turning off news in notifications.

Notifications are already set to deny, content blockers on. Will have a look at cookies......

I use the Brave browser on the mac and I have had no issues with it as yet
