#1 ebay sign in

Post by ed »

I've just signed in to my ebay account...all seemed normal...I searched for a product and hit 'buy it now'...and the screen cleared and I got the sign in screen again......I hit the back arrow to the preveious screen and I was still signed in......go figure!.... I am suspicious..

has anybody else had experience of this?

Just tested mine, works OK. Goes straight to check-out.

Only slightly relevant, but similar, so I'll mention it here; an hour or so ago I was on the Rapid Electronics site, not been on for ages, it's all been redesigned and different looking, I kept getting a farking pop-up message asking what sort of customer am I, before can continue or even log in!

Lists of options, either industry or educational / student based. Bottom line says "if for personal purposes only click here to go to our industry site" (wtf?) do that, just reloads the same page!

In the end I clicked 'university' else couldn't get rid of the s0dding thing.
