You know, it occurred to me (only) a week or so ago that one goes up or down in a watchtower, not along. I suppose 'all along the battlements' doesn't scan in Bob's book! No one else, as far as I know, has ever remarked on this oddity.
Philosophers have only interpreted the world - the point, however, is to change it. No it isn't ... maybe we should leave it alone for a while.

That's very thought-provoking, Andrew - good point. Was it a Martello, by any chance ?
