Mike,

You could have popped in for a cup of tea as I live next to the 3 Magpies pub.

And you passed within ten minutes from my place, if you had carried forward when you turned right at Iron Acton. Another cupper missed.

Two more I've just finished:

Monmouth to Dinas Island, Sunday 24th June 2018
Timelapse, 18 minutes.

Wednesday 27th June 2018, Dinas Island to Anglesey
Timelapse, 18 minutes.

NB: Dinas Island is actually a small headland just northeast along the coast from Fishguard.

Great route and perfect weather, Mike - what a great trip. Thanks !
How often could you travel the length of Wales and only see one fuzzy cloud ( just near the end ).

I do wonder , in the days of Kevlar ( and monorails ) , can't somebody come up with protective bike gear that's a bit porous to the air ?

There are indeed such things. Almost like a string vest kind of thing, but holds elbow / shoulder pads and so on.

My jacket has zipped vents, and I removed the lining. However if the general air feels like it's just come off the Sahara, nothing helps very much. Like standing in front of a hair drier.
