Never mind dates!
I want to know if anyone has got round to trying the built in phono preamp in Soulution preamp, and if they have, how good is it?

I shall be attending and am thinking about bringing my Goldring Lenco. It has been improved just lately with a heavy plinth to very good effect.
I am running a Lyra Clavis on it, some might think that a bit optimistic but it performs really well.

The next meeting of the Yorkshire HiFi Club will be Saturday 11th August.

Turntables will be the main subject with a side helping of phono bake off (again).

Starting time approx. 10.30 am

PLEASE do not arrive and ask me where to park, there is no free parking nearby. If you can manage a short walk of 10 minutes there is a long road leading into Huddersfield that usually has plenty of spaces on a Saturday.

Its called St. Johns Road see here http://huddersfield.streetmapof.co.uk/st-johns-road/

If you are travelling by train the shop is virtually 2 minutes walk from the station.

Thank You

I may be up north that weekend.

The train from Low Moor to Huddersfield is £3.90 each way so might be the best way to get there.

I won't be able to bring anything, is that OK ?

I am hoping to make the journey.
I am hoping to have a couple of phonostages on board, that there are only one model of each known in the UK.

There are a few eateries in the market, and there's a knocking shop further up the block
