Nearly, it was probably a grounding box that sealed it...

Amazing how people have suddenly "discovered" these wondrous boxes LOL

If the new one is towards the end of this month I'll have some very interesting amplifiers to bring along.

Edit - those interested in linear-phase crossovers will want to see this.

Does one feel there will be one last Yorkshire HiFi Club 'Blow Out' in 2018, hopefully before the North becomes buried in snow.

The shiny new yet-to-be-released-in-the-strictest-sense amps will be with me early December.
Will the speakers present have the option to be bi-amped?
No problem if not, but if so, we can try out some linear-phase crossovers.

The alternative is to take a quick measurement and apply the opposite phase curve to flatten out any inherent phase shifts. There will be 2048 taps to play with, which is enough to do quite a lot of interesting stuff.

I have a reasonable priced kit Phonostage I would like to be auditioned, it has surpassed my other stages, so I would like it to get in the ring with the Sugar Ray Leonard resident phon' to get its measure.
I also have a 'one of build' valve DAC , based on the TDA1541A chip, the designer has supplied a modified chip, I can bring the chip along if some body would like to audition the differences between them.

December has been way too busy to even think about a meeting, January will have to suffice!

Maybe just an Owston type of arrangement bring what you want, good idea?
