#1 Mouse scroll wheel.

Post by pre65 »

HELP.
On this forum my mouse scroll wheel will not scroll the page up/down.Only noticed this morning.

It works on all the other web pages I use, so have I inadvertently changed a setting on here, or has something changed in the forum setup ?

I usually use a wireless mouse, but plugging in a USB mouse gives the same problem on this site only. :(

Indeed Andrew.

Thing is, it died again just now but rebooting has fixed it yet again.

Strange that it only affects this forum. :?

The computer 'deep thought' spent quite a long time finding the answer to Life etc etc as being 42.

People were fairly disappointed and so a new computer had to be built to find out what actually the question was. After a considerable amount of time more the new computer came up with the question. It was:- What is six x nine?

And that's why there is something fundamentally wrong with the Earth.

The mice gave up and went back to enjoying a game of Brockian Ultra Cricket but that wasn't the end of Arthur Dent's sufferings. Some might have said that they had only just begun!

Thankyou. :)

I didn't get that far with the book before I gave up. :(

Ahh, but at least in the radio version, that answer was created in the fake universe Zarniwoop had created in his office, so may not be the one for the "real" universe.

Zarniwoop ... it all comes back to me - well some of it anyway

The office of the HHGTTG... an existential lift that having tried to go sideways was given a choice of going up and ...

Marvin defending himself against a huge horribly beweaponed battle robot with ... well you'd have to read the book to appreciate what he defended himself with.

Amazing - brilliant. On Desert Island disks I might just take this book over the Bible; no sense of humour.
