The ones I saw were from the dawn of time (well vintage really) but it just shows how past concepts get re-invented.

Re: The Audio-Talk Cycling thread.
Did myself proud today; headed out from work for a lunchtime ride with a really strong guy. We decided to try and beat our previous best over the route and I managed to hold his wheel at an average speed of 21.4mph - that's a whole 1mph faster than last time (=5% faster!). It was hard but I wasn't on my limit (much!), though I wasn't strong enough to do much time on the front. At one point we were cruising at almost 30mph on a flat section of about a mile or so - Phew!

Re: The Audio-Talk Cycling thread.
I rode Scobswell today, whahey. The weather looked great to start with, then it chucked it down for the last 35 miles or so!

Lovely East London Thames Tickler loop. We saw many things such as...
The Victoria and Albert Docks with London City airport in the background...

Lucky I didn't bring my Bagpipes, Sitar or Hurdy Gurdy eh.

Grey clouds over the London Skyline...

Very quiet today...

Only Pro-level wet weather cyclists out...

Messy but fun all the same...

Re: The Audio-Talk Cycling thread.
If you pedaled with only one of your speedy legs I'd have half a chance of keeping up with you!

Re: The Audio-Talk Cycling thread.
Looks like a really nice route. I'm up for that.
Especially, I like the "Average grade" of 0.1%
Also, Impressive skid marks. Vegan diet?
