Ta Ray. I'm off again later today for a shorter ride, meeting up with fellow Audio-Talk-Cycling-Team Member MrT for a catch up.

I'm heading off for an early night - I seem to be going down with a bug - so may not get any miles in this weekend.
Sorry, I couldn't resist!

Cheers Dave and sorry to let the team down. I'm still resting up in bed feeling like... ...and, strangely, my left knee is really sore.
We've got tickets for a string quartet this evening, fingers crossed.
Sorry, I couldn't resist!

I've been off work most of this week with a bad infection; I'm on a course of antibiotics and have spent a lot of time sleeping.
I'm starting to feel better, though I still have tender neck/throat, so I'm going to rest up for the weekend.
Maybe I'll give the bikes a clean in readiness for the sunnier weather that's supposed to be on the way.

Oh, I did manage to get to the string quartet (the Albion Quartet) concert last Saturday evening. They were excellent though as an audience member I don't think I did them justice.
Sorry, I couldn't resist!

Get well soon Ray. I'm off to the Lakes today and will get in some walking - although nothing too ambitious given my current fitness - more like convalescence ! I shall scour the Wainwright books for 'unticked' summits within around 3 hours round-trip.

Back on the bike today, only the two miles to work and back (twice) but no ill affects.
I've still got a cough but I'm feeling much better overall.
