Cheers Mr Bass. I rode 60 of the miles with the group; I think I would be slower on my own. We weren't really slipstreaming much as we were too loose as a group but it's much more motivating.Dave the bass wrote: ↑Thu Jul 26, 2018 3:38 pm Kerrrrrrrrrrikey that's some pace for that distance Ray, top trumps. BTW, the 20miles on my own were my usual 'there and back' 20miler, which I rode before I met up with the group - they didn't want to get out of bed 'that early'...

I suggested a pre-dawn desert drive yesterday - meet at 05:30 at a cafe on the edge of a desert about an hour from here, i.e. get up at 04:00....
Feeble excuses from the whole lot of them!
Ended up with a mass outing at the same place at 15:30 - had 20 offroaders for that. Instead of the cool 35C if dawn, we had 48C and sand so hot it burnt you if you touched it...

Mangler Junior says that your trajectory looks a bit random (ie you wuz lost!).
He would have made sure that the path marked out would have shown a great big cock and balls.

My crazy zig zags are where Iwas following the trails around this brilliant NT place in Cornwall that is very bike friendly. The trails vary from easy peasy to challenging. Top fun (IMO).

Should have known you were down here from the weather this morning!
The world looks so different after learning science. For example, trees are made of air, primarily. When they are burned, they go back to air, and in their flaming heat is released the flaming heat of the Sun which was bound in to convert air into tree.
