#1 Making a string quartet from first shavings of the wood...
Just loved this - not your usual rock-n-roll, but such skill - Luthier Brian Lisus at work using only 16th Century techniques:
He has a web site: http://www.lisusviolins.com/
There is something about real craftsmen & artists that can almost bring a tear to the eye...

A long video, but I marvel at the craftsmanship.

tears in the eyes or whatever, I can't help thinking Nick's original post/thread has been hi-jacked.......
can't we have another thread doing homage to Jaco...then I can join in...as it is I was hoping people would enlighten us with tales of luthiers here.
am I being a bit OCD?

There yer go...
The world looks so different after learning science. For example, trees are made of air, primarily. When they are burned, they go back to air, and in their flaming heat is released the flaming heat of the Sun which was bound in to convert air into tree.
