Go for it Greg. If you enjoy putting on an LP rather than a CD, you'll love your Gaggia.
The world looks so different after learning science. For example, trees are made of air, primarily. When they are burned, they go back to air, and in their flaming heat is released the flaming heat of the Sun which was bound in to convert air into tree.

I've got a Gaggia Classic, in a different league to most domestic espresso machines. Partly, I think, because it uses the same size portafilters as the professional machines. It also helps that it doesn't have one of those "perfect crema" or similar devices fitted

We needed a new coffee make a few weeks ago and I did some hunting around on the web. Gaggia Classic was one we were looking at but in the end we went for one of these:
But got a factory 2nd from a guy on Ebay for £115. It's a nice machine, makes great coffee and the latte milk thing works far better than those with the daft pipe you have to stick a jug of milk in.
The decision to go for this one was mainly down to the auto latte making facility and the ease of cleaning the parts; the water reservoir takes full off, as does the milk container (which can be removed and put in the fridge between coffee making sessions)
Quite a clever design all round really. Let's hope it lasts longer than our last coffee machine!
Cheers,
Tony

I like milk on my coffee. Do I need to join the ducking queue?

you like milk on your coffee - just how strong do you make it?!?
Philosophers have only interpreted the world - the point, however, is to change it. No it isn't ... maybe we should leave it alone for a while.

Self ducking? That almost sounds like a rather selfish pleasure experience...
