Mine always shows 0.2, but I merely subtract it from every low resistance mesaurement, seems to work.Ray P wrote: ↑Sun Jun 21, 2020 9:37 pm I think this came about because Phil asked me to measure something for him; the meter I had to hand was my old Fluke, must be at least 25yrs old and still gong strong and is fine for most scenarios I encounter, but it has no nulling capability. As the resistance I was asked to measure is only a few ohms I wasn't able to be confident of the accuracy of reading; if I touch the probes together it reads over 1ohm.

I too have an old fluke that could show all manner of things when touching the probes so for measuring low values, I give the probes leads entering the meter a good rotating wiggle and that seems to zero things.

What connects:
1. The Dixie Chicks
2. The gravitational constant
And before anyone says it, it's NOT because they say "G" a lot...

Don't know.
I do know the Dixie Chicks have withdrawn the "Dixie" part of their name to help highlight racial inequality.

As to the second part, something to do with this ?

But, I can't see the connection.

I noticed this cloud formation late yesterday afternoon. The top bit looks like two rampant Lions, well it did to me, but then I had been on the Pernod.

I sold a Norton AMC gearbox on Ebay, and I got £100 over my reserve.
Got to pack it up for shipping now.
Must search the shed and garage for more goodies.
