Pah!!

just stoppred for a cup of tea....I drained down the heating yesterday to move a radiator in the gutted bathroom(the weather looked like it was a bit warmer)....well..joining old copper to new copper in restricted areas(underneath a partition wall) and fixing split level house arrangements where previous sparkys had fitted ring mains against the plumbing etc etc....well yesterday afternoon I took my last 22mm elbow out of the box only to discover it was dented and of no use whatsoever(it was 4 pm and B&Q had just closed......

heating is still off, job is not finished yet...my attitude is deteriorating by the minute...

20 years ago this job would have taken 2 hours max.......

Why do these things always happen in the wintertime?

Well, that was a wasted afternoon that I won't get back! Just got back from the Bristol HiFi and i didn't hear a single system that made me think 'that's good'. I know hotel rooms are less than ideal but the general sound quality was pretty mediocre and in some rooms just down right poor - what surprises me is that most of the people in the room don't seem to notice. I said much the same last year so, according to, I think, Einstein, I'm demonstrating insanity.

Did you know that Audio Talk is on youTube?

Well, it is! Could have knocked me down with a slice of lemon wrapped around a very large gold brick.
