Trying to buy some resistors off Rapid, bank keeps declining the card payment! Image

Even PayPal won't work. So thought s0d it got them off eBay, fine no problem. PayPal still works.

Only afterwards see texts on the mobile bank is trying to ask me is it really me trying to make these payments to Rapid, if yes reply 'Y', which I did. OK then.

Alright so I haven't ordered anything from Rapid for a while but sheesh Image

I bet that made an interesting noise...
The world looks so different after learning science. For example, trees are made of air, primarily. When they are burned, they go back to air, and in their flaming heat is released the flaming heat of the Sun which was bound in to convert air into tree.

On a different tack, someone just put this on YouTube so I thought I’d share it around. Plymouth air show 1978. Who can spot the James Bond link?

Yup! Little Nellie herself flown by Ken Wallis. He put on a really good display that day. Shame this bloke didn’t catch a bit more of it.

Yep.

The people in the US with the 2WD Urals are doing this kind of thing quite often. Lots of topics on the forums. Some are on their 3rd or 4th final drive box (rear wheel 'diff'). The rest of us who stay on the 'pavement' don't have these sorts of problems. Funny that. :D

NB: the 2WD Ural has a drive shaft to the sidecar wheel, however there's no actual diff so the wheels are locked together, so the FD gears get a real hammering. Hene the 'user instructions' say 2WD must only be used on slippery surfaces.

Ended up with a broken phone again. Son number one this time, chucked something at his sister which hit my phone and smashed the screen.
So had to pay out 60 quid have it fixed. And then be told it is looking like 2 weeks to get it back as they will have to send it off somewhere.
So because I use the bloody thing for work ive had to buy a replacement aswell. Got the cheapest thing they had in the local cash converters that would do the things I need.
Another 80 quid.

Thanks a bunch theo (son number 2)
Well done son.

I went to a friends funeral this afternoon. :(

Thing is, he was a year younger than me.
