Stopped for tea & soup at Headcorn Aerodrome - just lovely. Like something out of the Dambusters movie - old wooden huts for the cafe with a Spitfire outside - there were two Spitfires doing some filming - one was repeatedly doing low passes at full throttle over the aerodrome and the crew were fitting cameras all over the one in the photo.
Pssstttt, 'Miles'. 42.25, nice ride, well done! We measure in Miles in the AT-CC. Kms is for big-numbers-over-achievin' sporty types, we are AT-CC, we be understated and cooooool ....and measure in Hrs and Miles
Its great at Headcorn innits, I meet up with a Bullet riding friend out there every so often...
The ride is in support of Walking with the Wounded - it's an annual ride with 25, 50 and 75 mile options - I'm doing the 75... I've done it before - it's a bit tough as there are some serious hills...

5 hour ride with over 1,000 metres (3,000+ ft) of climbing...
I'd be laid up for a week if I did that...
Best of luck ..
The tube manual is quite like a telephone book. The number of it perfect. It is useful to make it possible to speak with a girl. But we can't see her beautiful face from the telephone number
No ride yesterday because of Hannah and still pretty blustery today but got out for a couple of ups and downs on the Quantock Hills, 2000ft of climbing in just 21miles and my best VAM to date!

The office charity bike ride (supporting MIND this year) has been finalised so on July 8th I'll be riding a 117 mile 'Tour of Somerset'. The first half will take us out to West Somerset, where it is pretty lumpy, before we head east towards Yeovil and then back across the Levels, so a pretty flat second half. Around 7000ft of climbing and about 9hrs in the saddle. AudioTalk CC members are welcome to come along.
I'd love to but it maybe a bit much. The 75 I did today was quite tiring and has only a half of the ascent. Your ride is also 50% longer and 8 or so hours - I was only out for about 6...
1st time out for 18 months around the Cheshire lanes. Building up to retirement. Had to have a comfort stop at Swan with Two Nick's, so rude not to have a pint in the sun.
TD-125/RB250/MC25FL & 'Snail' phono, NAS/SBT with CS4398 DAC, 41MP pre & MoFo Power, still messing with OBs.
