Wow. It had to happen eventually. More in that article than I knew - the bits about wanting to ride the Tour de France, and playing with PIL in the 80's . He was a one-off, that's for sure.

Sad news. Quite a musical legacy left behind though.
Still one of the oddest gigs I've ever been to was seeing him and Jonas Hellborg performing as a duo at the Jazz Cafe. Ginger spent most of the night flicking fag butts at the back of Jonas's head! On stage. I think there was pre-gig conflict.
