I'm off to France in August. It's been a very long time.... all I have is very poor franglais and schoolboy jokes - eh bien, je jamais!

Eggborough is an awesome place. A giant's plasma playground - made our efforts a little less than significant. But great memories, nonetheless!!!!!!!
Philosophers have only interpreted the world - the point, however, is to change it. No it isn't ... maybe we should leave it alone for a while.

's'funny innit, whenever my brother in law comes over the first thing he does is drag me off to the greasy spoon.
but it boils down to the other man's grass.....my mother in law has recently bought a kettle(sacre bleu) and my bro in law now has a toaster as pain de mie seems to be more readily available...plus ce change je dit

eggy memories, none better

Too true Ed. Just had a look back at some of the Eggy photos on the Photo Record thread - halcyon days.

At the risk of thread diversion....

Not if we can't keep the lights on it isn't! And that's without additional demand for the time when the revolution comes and we "all drive Teslas", even if most of the time we'll charge them up at night when there's spare capacity.
Meanwhile, the problem is doing its best to provide a solution.

The world looks so different after learning science. For example, trees are made of air, primarily. When they are burned, they go back to air, and in their flaming heat is released the flaming heat of the Sun which was bound in to convert air into tree.

The entrepreneur says David Bowie's classic hit Space Oddity will be looping on the radio in the roadster as it is hurled into an elliptical orbit that stretches out to Mars' orbit around the Sun.”

Love that!

Impressive piece of technology showcasing.

Just a shame they lost the third booster but their track record suggests it won't take them long to get it sorted.
