Hi all...

What is the ideal impedance for a 845 output transformer. 7.5K or 10K ?

Depends,

Do you have anything to hand or do you need to buy? 8)

From this, http://www.mif.pg.gda.pl/homepages/fran ... /8/845.pdf

Anything from 3.4 - 11K depending on the operating voltage and power you require?

Thanks. voltage will be about 800V so a universal with 5K to 7.5K might be a good choice.

Hi-i had a pair of 6.8K output transformers from the PT15 project and they are about the right value for my 845 project which will be somewhere about 900-1000V (tell you later on in the week when i power it up).
